UNIT 10.
SEASON CHANGE: SPRING ARRIVES.
We decided to investigate which plants, food, weather, colours, and animals are in Spring,
and why we can see so many colours in this season.
Once we have investigated enough, we will make a display with all the information gathered
and organised, we will create a display where we can see the investigation of the contents we
were working on, about the Spring season, weather, plants, colours, food and animals, to see
the relationship and to share it with others in the school.
Spring is also the season where many bulbs can be planted. We plant radish in the orchard with
the purpose of checking regularly how it grows backed up with documentary evidence such
as pictures.
UNIT 13.
LIFE CYCLE OF A RADISH
the bulbs we have planted in the orchard, the radish. We gathered evidence through photos
of how it grows, sprouts and blooms.
During this unit we will create a non-fiction book of the cycle life of our radish. To make this book
we will suggest they make our book’s pages by making recycled paper. In order to do that, we will
have to save recycled paper to be able to create it.
Once the book is done we will share it with the school’s library.
UNIT 14.
PUPPET SHOW
In this unit we will make a similar fiction story about the life of the radish. To make this story we
will work on the places where the radish grows in summer and create our argument.
After this, we will make our show puppets.
